About the Artist
Hyesu Lee is a Seoul-born, Brooklyn-based illustrator, muralist, and educator whose work explores connection through playful, expressive visuals. With a BA in Illustration from the University of the Arts London and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, her work is rooted in storytelling and shaped by her experiences across cultures. You may have seen her vibrant murals on shop walls and street corners throughout NYC, or her charming comics circulating on social media. Hyesu believes art is a universal language, and her workshops reflect that spirit of openness, curiosity, and joy.
