Historic Gathering Celebrating Women Breaking Barriers
Building on the success of their 2025 collaboration for the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, Rise – a non-profit advocacy organization for the rights of survivors of sexual violence – and Spotlight Initiative – the United Nations high-impact initiative for the elimination of violence against women and girls – with support from the Permanent Mission of Viet Nam to the United Nations, and the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations – are organizing ‘Women Breaking Barriers’ a high-level event recognizing trailblazing women across different industries and geographic regions at the conclusion of Women’s History Month.
