〄 XDub is a new community and listening format driven by the XD collective and their everlasting search for Unlimited Aesthetical Dimensions. ◒◒ Just before summer break, we are taking over Geist Im Glas for an evening of sound and sensory immersion. From live improv by upcoming synth wizard Müller-Rockmann to high fidelity listening sessions with XD Network residents Hi-Lar and Discotopian; presented on one of Berlins best sounding sound systems – courtesy of our friends at Restless Audio. Stimulate your senses with an extended take on dubby sound and listening culture, paired with a special scent from sensory designer Caroline McMillan.

〠 Hi-Lar
... aka Tim Heiler is over 20 years deep in bass music, with releases on labels like Alphacut, Offshore, Plain Audio, and more. Recently, Tim has been mapping XDub: extended dub music between sound design, sound system culture and sound healing sensitivities. Music with both body and harmony, expressive explorations of sound and playful, forward leaning post rave aesthetics constitute the XDub sound.

〠 Discotopian
... is a Berlin-based selector shaped by minimal house, techno, UK dance & garage. With dance roots from two decades on the floor, he crafts percussive, emotional sets for heavy, ecstatic movement. Co-founder of Science of Rave & Radio Dreamwave.



〠 Müller-Rockmann
'... delivers live analog electronic sets built on permuting rhythmic grids. For XDub, the artist aka Jan-Henning Raff goes below the grid looking for the underlying base material.

〠 Restless Audio
... build bespoke speakers & audio solutions in Berlin.

〠 Caroline McMillan
... is an interdisciplinary researcher, designer, and artist. Her work explores a wide array of topics including sensory language, performance, media archaeology, and the body as a site of critique.
