4 Weeks to Demo — Week 1: Defining the Problem

Friday, March 6 | 4:30–6:00 PM
Location: 1403 University (main level)

Have an idea you’re exploring but not sure how to clearly define the problem?

This session kicks off our 4 Weeks to Demo Sprint. We’ll focus on sharpening your thinking so you can move from a vague concept or emerging tech interest to a clear, compelling use case for the next four weeks.

This session is open to:

  • Digital Health Challenge participants

  • Self-Directed Innovation students

  • Venture Discovery teams

  • Founder Lab students

  • Anyone working on their own idea

All are welcome.

What We’ll Do

  • Workshop how to define a real problem

  • Clarify who your user is (and why they care)

  • Identify assumptions worth testing

  • Introduce simple frameworks you can use to shape your use case

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer problem statement

  • A defined user/context

  • A starting point for your 4-week sprint

No polished idea required. Just bring what you’re thinking about.
