About Event

The Explorers Guild is an empowering and transformative program that revolves around the profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and living authentically. At the heart of our circle is the pursuit of identifying values and priorities, aligning actions with these compass points, and navigating life's journey guided by our internal north star. This overarching theme emphasizes that, like a compass, sometimes all we need is direction rather than a step-by-step map. Grounded in the exploration of visions and values, the guild enables individuals to make authentic, intentional choices that resonate with their true selves, transcending the confines of past pains and societal expectations. In a group format, participants share in the process of uncovering core values, understanding life experiences, and charting a forward path in harmony with genuine aspirations. This collective exploration fosters deep relationships, accountability, and validation, encouraging members to confront fears, discover hidden aspects, and collectively go deeper on what truly works in their individual and shared journeys. The Explorers Guild is a supportive community that doesn't seek to change individuals but empowers them to live in closer alignment with themselves.

Week 1: Introduction, Orientation, Setting Intentions, Norms

In the first session of the Explorers Guild, participants will embark on a journey of discovery, both individually and as a collective. This week focuses on building a strong foundation by introducing the guild, providing orientation, and collectively establishing intentions and norms that will guide the exploratory process.

Week 2: Values, Visions, Life priorities, Desires

In the second week of the Explorers Guild, we delve into the core aspects that shape our individual and collective journeys. This session is dedicated to exploring our values, envisioning the future, identifying life priorities, and embracing our deepest desires. Through guided activities and discussions, participants will uncover the guiding principles that define their authentic selves, setting the stage for intentional and purposeful exploration.

Week 3: Social: Community and Friendships

Our focus shifts to the social aspect of exploration - the intricate tapestry of communities and friendships that shape our lives. We will delve into the concept of community, addressing the impact of the pandemic on our sense of belonging, and explore ways to rebuild meaningful connections while staying true to our values. Additionally, we'll engage in discussions about past experiences with communities that weren't aligned with our values and reflect on the parameters that define an ideal, supportive community. In the realm of friendships, we'll tackle the art of having difficult conversations, selecting relationships to rekindle or repair, and understanding when it's time to let go of connections that no longer serve our growth.

Week 4: Seeking Novel Perspectives (guest speaker or field trip)

The spotlight is on seeking novel perspectives. We'll embark on a dynamic exploration by inviting a guest speaker or organizing a field trip to expose our members to fresh ideas, diverse experiences, and unique viewpoints. This session aims to broaden horizons, stimulate curiosity, and encourage a mindset of continuous learning. By bringing in an expert or immersing ourselves in a new environment, we aim to inspire creativity, foster open-mindedness, and ignite a passion for exploring the world through different lenses.

Week 5: Family and Romantic Relationships

We turn our focus to the complex and enriching dynamics of family and romantic relationships. Participants will engage in activities and discussions aimed at understanding and navigating these integral aspects of their personal lives. The session will provide tools for building healthier connections, resolving conflicts, and fostering deeper bonds within both familial and romantic contexts.

Week 6: Career and Identity

We dive into the realms of career and identity. This week is dedicated to self-discovery in professional and personal spheres, exploring the intersections of our careers and identities. Participants will engage in activities designed to uncover their passions, define their professional narratives, and align their career paths with their authentic selves.

Week 7: Identifying Limiting beliefs, Strengths, Interests, Motivators

Our focus shifts to self-awareness, aiming to uncover and address limiting beliefs while identifying strengths, interests, and motivators. Participants will engage in activities designed to unearth hidden barriers, recognize personal strengths, explore genuine interests, and understand the driving forces behind their motivations. This session is dedicated to empowering individuals to break free from self-imposed constraints and embrace their unique capabilities.

Week 8: Reflection and Wrap-up

As we approach the culmination of our exploratory journey in the Explorers Guild, Week 8 is dedicated to reflection and wrap-up. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their personal growth, share insights gained throughout the program, and celebrate the collective journey. This final session will foster a sense of closure while preparing individuals to carry the spirit of exploration forward into their lives.
