The first-ever H3 Conference is happening at Uber NYC on September 23 — and Fused is co-hosting it. Since NYC is a long flight away, we're bringing the conference to Bengaluru instead.
Join us for a live stream of H3 Conf, plus local lightning talks, demos, and dinner with the people building geospatial systems in India.
About H3 Conf
H3 is Uber's open-source hexagonal hierarchical geospatial indexing system — the grid that quietly sits under a huge amount of modern spatial infrastructure. This is the first time the community has gathered in one place for it. The NYC lineup includes Isaac Brodsky — co-founder and CTO of Fused, Uber alum, and one of the people behind H3 — along with speakers from Overture Maps Foundation, the Cloud Native Geospatial Foundation, and engineers running H3 in production at scale.
Expect technical deep dives and lightning talks — not vendor pitches.

6:30 PM — Doors open + live stream begins
Grab some chai, meet the community, and tune in as H3 Conf kicks off at 9:00 AM in New York.
Breaks between sessions — Discussions + local lightning talks
9:00 PM — Dinner + open hacking
Bring a laptop. We'll have an AI-native, local-first tool we've been building at Fused set up for anyone who wants to try H3 hands-on.
11:30 PM — Wrap
NYC keeps going after we finish; we'll share recordings for the remaining sessions.
Who should come
Data engineers, GIS practitioners, mobility and logistics teams, ML engineers working with location data, researchers, and anyone curious about why so much of the geospatial stack is made of hexagons. No prior H3 experience needed.
