Claude SMB Workshop with Okavango - Grand Rapids
Learn how to put Claude to work in your small business.
The Claude SMB Workshop in partnership with Start Garden is coming to Grand Rapids, hosted by Okavango — an Approved Claude SMB Trainer organization.
You'll set up Claude for your business: connect your email or calendar, install the Claude for Small Business plugin, and run your first workflows together, like a Monday brief with your week's priorities in one place. We'll also show what's possible when you connect tools like QuickBooks, Shopify, and Gusto.
What you'll get
A real task working. Bring one of yours (payroll, invoices, marketing, a lead to follow up) and leave with it running in Claude, not just a plan to try it later.
Practical AI fluency: what Claude does well, what to double-check, and where the limits are. Built for business owners, not engineers. No technical background needed.
Help in the room while you build.
One free month of Claude Max (for people new to Claude Max).
The session at a glance
1:00 PM | doors open for registration, tech setup, and coffee
1:30 PM to 3:30 PM | AI fluency training and hands-on workshop
3:30 PM | wrap-up and networking
What to bring
Your laptop, a charger, and one real task you'd love to hand off.
Install the Claude desktop app before you arrive. If your company's IT team manages your laptop, check that you can install apps and connect your work email and calendar. If you can't, bring a personal laptop instead.
The fine print
