🔥Toronto Founder Walk #3 - Better conversations. Better people. No awkward networking.
A Sunday walk for people building something.
There are thousands of entrepreneurs in Toronto.
The strange part is how rarely we actually meet each other outside of networking events.
So we're trying something simpler.
A small group of founders and entrepreneurs. A walk along the waterfront. Good conversation. That's it.
No presentations.
No speed networking.
No standing around trying to figure out who to pitch.
Just 75 minutes outside with people who understand what it's like to build something.
🚶 What happens
We'll meet at Simcoe WaveDeck at Harbourfront and walk along the waterfront for about 75 minutes.
We'll help everyone meet a few people at the beginning. After that, the conversation is intentionally informal.
Talk about what you're building. Something you're trying to figure out. An idea you've been thinking about. Business. Life. Toronto.
Or something completely unexpected.
The goal isn't to leave with 20 new LinkedIn connections.
It's to leave having met one or two people you'd genuinely like to talk to again.
We'll start walking shortly after 5.
☕ Stay longer if you want
We'll finish around Harbourfront.
If the conversation is good and you don't feel like heading home yet, a few of us can grab coffee, a drink or something to eat afterward.
Completely optional.
Who should come?
Come if you're:
building a business
starting something
self-employed
running an established company
working through your next idea
You don't need a certain revenue number, job title or business stage.
Curious beats impressive.
Come ready to meet people, contribute to the conversation and hear what someone else is working on.
A few things that make these walks work
Don't hard sell.
Nobody wants to discover halfway through a walk that they've accidentally entered someone's sales funnel.
Talk to someone you don't know.
If you already know a few people, help bring someone new into the conversation.
If you register, show up.
We're intentionally keeping these walks small.
Be curious. Be useful.
Good conversations go both ways.
Small by design
We're keeping the first walks to around 12–16 people.
That's enough variety to meet someone unexpected, but small enough that you can actually talk.

A little rain won't necessarily stop us.
