Buying and Building are the two key components that power innovation and activate a vibrant ecosystem. We want to build a bridge amongst leading innovators with different backgrounds to accelerate this.
Over the last six months, we have built the AI Engine community to uncover and encourage the "Building" component. We've seen numerous startups that came through our door, founded and even funded in this timeframe, talent hired into fast-moving organisations, and many taking the leap into the technology industry.
However, an ecosystem that builds without the echo of buying and adoption is stagnant. In our next chapter, we'd love to open up the conversation of how organisations large and small, tech-first and traditional, public and private, can adopt AI.
Topic discussion groups will be run around:
Building
How to nurture and grow AI expertise
Tech and entrepreneurship representation as a career path
Funding landscape in the UK
Buying
What AI solutions businesses need
What challenges business innovators face internally when adopting new technology
How investors can better support the conversation to encourage early adopters
Who'll be in the room:
Top builders: the AI Engine winners, top engineers, future 10x engineers and founders
AI leaders: distinguished entrepreneurs, researchers driving the forefront of AI, and product leaders
Business innovators: people who drive real business impact, understand the pain points and strive to solve them with new technology
Policy makers: how we can systematically set up for success
Investors: Leading venture fund and active angel investors
What to expect:
Networking
Topic discussion from brilliant minds
Afternoon tea on the River Terrace
Exhibition opportunity available
What's Next Wave Intrapreneurs:
True transformation happens when business innovators champion AI inside their organisations, embedding it into industries and operations to spark large-scale change. With your help, we aim to shine a spotlight on the individuals within corporations who are leading AI adoption across various industries.
Nominate here. E.g., led the rollout of AI tooling within the organisation, championed an experimental buildout using generative AI, pioneered the adoption of an external software vendor, and created an internal platform for new technology.
