The REVIVAL Salon: Vintage Stories Read by Sandra O’Connell
Every vintage garment carries a past. We've imagined their stories.
Studio Telltale and REVIVAL have partnered to transform the act of shopping into an experience of discovery and delight. Together, we've curated a collection of vintage pieces, and Studio Telltale has imagined a story for each — some inspired by truth, many entirely fiction.
Browse through the racks and, here or there, you'll come upon tags with handwritten stories. A bold blouse once worn by an equally bold woman named Dotty Domingo, a disco-era jumpsuit that boogied across dance floors, or, a favourite, a Laura Ashley dress for the woman who is both proper and wild in her ways.
This collection of 18 short stories inspire you to take your time as you browse, and let your imagination wander. Vintage is considered slow fashion, after all.
We invite you to The REVIVAL Salon for an intimate reading of vintage stories read by storyteller Sandra O'Connell of Studio Telltale. It's a sweet escape from the reality and rush of everyday life.
After the reading, guests are welcome to select a piece and write a short story of their own — be creative! You'll leave with a refuelled imagination, and looking at the world with a little more curiosity.
See you at the REVIVAL Salon!
