The Golden Rule Lifetime Achievement Award
The Golden Rule Lifetime Achievement Award
Honoring Cheryl Halpern
The Summit presents The Golden Rule Lifetime Achievement Award to Cheryl Halpern in recognition of her contributions to peace, education, cultural understanding and humanitarian service.
Designed by Her Majesty Queen Angelique-Monet Gureje-Thompson, The Queen of Eti-Oni, Osun State, Nigeria, the award was handcrafted by artisans in Edo State, Nigeria, drawing upon the enduring artistic tradition of the ancient Benin bronzes—a craft still practiced today.
A valuable artifact, the award is one of two original handcrafted pieces, with the other intended as a gift to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. Each piece is individually numbered, marked and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity attesting to its originality.
A fireside conversation will explore Halpern’s experiences in public service and filmmaking, the power of storytelling to inspire compassion, and the importance of passing these values on to younger generations.
