Women Founders Network: Silvia Alcaraz
Join us for this month’s Women Founders Network as we welcome Silvia Alcaraz — a seasoned program coordinator, educator, business development professional, and entrepreneur whose career spans more than fifteen years of cultivating strong relationships across public and private sectors.
Based in San Antonio, Silvia has built a reputation for combining entrepreneurial insight with strategic communication, operational leadership, and community engagement. Her career began in education as a bilingual teacher with Southwest ISD, where she spent seven years creating inclusive learning environments and supporting students and families both inside and outside the classroom.
Transitioning into entrepreneurship and business operations, Silvia has held leadership roles with organizations and businesses including Cocina Heritage, Dignowity Kolaches, SMACS dba Pro-Cleaning All, Trinity Market, and the Westside Development Corporation. Throughout her career, she has led efforts in sales, marketing, operations, event coordination, business outreach, and community engagement — helping businesses strengthen visibility, improve operations, and build lasting community connections.
In addition to her professional work, Silvia has remained deeply committed to mentorship and economic development across San Antonio. She has guided aspiring entrepreneurs through business planning, financial literacy, and marketing strategies while supporting initiatives focused on women in business and local leadership development.
Silvia also brings more than twenty years of experience as a real estate professional, helping families navigate the process of buying and selling homes with confidence and clarity.
Fluent in Spanish and recognized for her emotional intelligence, adaptability, and collaborative leadership style, Silvia continues to empower individuals and organizations through mentorship, strategic planning, and community-centered leadership.
Women Founders Network is a monthly meetup hosted by Geekdom and Launch SA designed to create a welcoming space for women founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect, share experiences, and support one another through every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
