Dubai Is Back to Work. Your Bitcoin Should Be Too.
AIM Congress opens Monday, Crypto Expo opens Wednesday and after a summer of unanswered emails everyone who matters is suddenly in the same postcode.
Which makes it a good week to have one specific conversation.
Most of the people flying in hold Bitcoin, and almost none of them want to sell it. The bills still arrive in dollars though. The energy contract, the capital call, payroll, the next acquisition. So the position sits there appreciating and doing nothing, while the treasury solves for liquidity somewhere else and usually pays more for it.
On Tuesday the 8th we're putting the industry around a table to go through how this works in practice. Family office principals holding BTC, treasurers at digital asset companies, and operators whose revenue and costs are denominated in different currencies.
The first fifteen minutes are ours: how credit desks read a Bitcoin balance sheet, what they'll actually lend against, and where the covenants bite. After that it's canapés and open conversation. No panel, no slides behind anyone's head.
