Product Management Hackathon Case Competition
Ever wondered how features are born from complaints? How an app goes from "good" to "great" based on user feedback? Join SCS Concordia and Ascend Concordia for a unique 48-hour Product Management Hackathon Case Competition designed to simulate the real-world lifecycle of product development.
This event is built on a simple premise: Great products require great engineering and great business sense. We are creating mixed teams of JMSB and GCS students to solve this challenge.
The Scenario:
You will receive a starter application populated with product reviews. Your team’s task is to act as a real-world product team. You must:
Analyze the Data: Read the reviews. Identify bugs, feature requests, and pain points.
Strategize: Decide which changes will have the biggest impact.
Implement: Get into the code and make those changes a reality.
Sell the Vision: Create a compelling pitch deck that tells the story of why you made those changes and how they improved the product.
Who should attend?
GCS Students: Want to learn how to code with a purpose? Practice adapting to changing requirements based on user feedback.
JMSB Students: Want to work on a technical product without needing to build from scratch? Learn how to guide a development team and craft a winning narrative.
Just bring your laptop, your energy, and your willingness to collaborate.
