Intro to Bitcoin Trading with Onchain Metrics
Curious about how onchain data can guide Bitcoin trading decisions? In this one-off session, we’ll dive into a few core metrics that help cut through the noise and offer deeper insight into market behavior.
We’ll cover metrics like 1 year holder percentage, realized cap net position change, long/short term onchain cost basis etc.—metrics that traders use to understand current market valuation, investor positioning, and potential inflection points. Most of the data we’ll reference comes from Glassnode, Lookintobitcoin and various other websites.
No prior trading experience required, though some basic familiarity with Bitcoin helps on understanding how the metrics are calculated. We’ll kick things off with an overview of the metrics and how they’re interpreted, followed by group discussion.
Please note: This session is for educational purposes only—nothing here is financial advice. Always do your own research and only risk what you can afford to lose.
