AI Workshop – Session 1: Build Your First AI Agent

This is a hands-on session where we build a complete, working AI agent together, from scratch and step by step. Everyone follows along on their own machine, so by the end you'll have a real agent running and understand what each part is doing.

We start from an empty project and work up to a functioning agent, covering the core building blocks along the way — how the pieces connect, where the logic lives, and how to run and test it.

Bring a laptop. Some comfort with a terminal is helpful but not required — the session is designed to be followed. This workshop also sets up Session 2, where you'll adapt the agent to your own use case.

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Social Club

About the host: Maurits is a software engineer and CTO. He runs two live products — NomadSIM.co (mobile connectivity for nomads and expats) and TTSLab (a browser-based text-to-speech tool) — and is building Yaeli, an AI agent that runs on WhatsApp today, with voice on the way.
