AI Health Tech: Debunking the Business Model
What Actually Works in Data, Regulation, and Commercialization

β€‹πŸ“… January 13 | JPM Healthcare Conference Week
πŸ“ Venue to be shared upon approval
πŸ”’ Invitation-only Β· Off-the-record Β· No recording

AI is transforming healthcare - but building a real, scalable business around AI remains far harder than the pitch decks suggest.

During JPM week, we’re hosting an intimate, invitation-only gathering of health-tech founders, operators, and investors to share hands-on, real-world experiences building and backing AI health-tech companies - across AI software, regulated AI, and AI embedded in therapeutic devices and robotics.

This is a peer-learning session, not a theoretical discussion. The focus will be on what actually works (and what breaks) when moving from AI promise to clinical and commercial reality.

Topics include

  • Building reliable AI: data, ground truth, and validation

  • Data acquisition and contracting realities

  • Regulatory learnings (including AI in devices and robotics)

  • Business models, pricing, and commercialization

  • IP strategy and defensibility

  • Investor expectations vs. operator reality

To encourage candid discussion, this session will be off-the-record and not recorded.

Agenda

  • 4:00–5:00 PM - Reception & Networking

  • 5:00–5:45 PM - Moderated Panel

  • 5:45–7:00 PM - Networking

Attendance is limited and requires approval.

This session is designed to foster peer learning, share hard-earned lessons, and strengthen the health-tech ecosystem - especially during a time when founder-led innovation faces increasing complexity and pressure.

πŸ™ Special thanks to Hanwha for generously supporting this AI gathering and helping foster founder-led health innovation. Hanwha AI Center (HAC) is a private membership for all those dedicated to AI. As a hub for innovation, HAC brings together passionate entrepreneurs, researchers, and visionaries to explore the societal and technological impacts of AI on human life.
