Frontier 2030: Friends of Deccan AI

​With the billions invested in capacity, compute is now a procurement and time problem. What limits the frontier today is less glamorous: where the expert data comes from, what environments models learn in, and whether anyone can tell if a change actually helped. One of those gives way before the others, and we find that a good thing to argue about over dinner.

​Frontier 2030 is an evening for the people we have built this with. Researchers and engineers from the labs, the teams supplying the data and environments behind them, people we have worked alongside this year, and a few we have been meaning to meet properly.
