Light a Beacon: Local Food x App Pilot
Beacon is a new app that helps people find what's happening nearby and spontaneously gather with the people and places around them. Join us for a spread of food and drink from You Enjoy Life Farms, try Beacon in good company, and tell us what's working and what isn't.
Most of us don't lack community. We lack an easy way to find it in the moment. Plans get buried in group chats, events are scattered across five platforms, and the spontaneous "anyone want to grab a coffee?" rarely makes it past the thought.
Beacon is a new app built to change that. You light a beacon to say "I'm around and open to company," share it with the circles you choose, and see what your neighbors are lighting up too. It's built to get you off the screen and into the same room, in your own local community, with your people.
