​If so, the Manchester Impact Ventures Programme can help you! Support, mentoring, activities, and the opportunity to apply for funding.  With a funding pot of up to £15k available to apply for.

​Create Change with Purpose: Tackle Social, Environmental, and Community Challenges.

​We are looking for any University of Manchester students, recent graduates, and members of staff with a passion to make an impact through social change:

​💡 with ideas
🌱 with a project that has just started
🚀 with an up and running venture
🌍 located anywhere

​The sessions will cover the following topics, we ask that at least one member of your team attends every session:

​💡 28/01/26 — Identifying the need
🚀 11/02/26 — Making a start
🧩 25/02/26 — Social Business Model Generation
💰 04/03/26 — Acquiring people & funding options
🌱 11/03/26 — Growing your impact & mentoring
🎉 25/03/26 — Branding, marketing, pitching & launch

​Application Process:

​Answer the questions in the application form, providing as much detail as possible.

​🎯 You should answer:

• ​💡 What is your project or idea?

• ​📈 How much progress have you made so far?

• ​🚧 What have been your biggest challenges?     

​Get Certified:

​​You’ll gain a certificate of completion to recognise your achievement and showcase your skills plus the opportunity to take your social impact idea further and the chance to enter the Venture Further Awards.
