Pear VC x BAIR Dinner

​This is a private, invite-only event (gourmet dinner included!) on campus at Berkeley, sponsored by Pear VC! Come meet Khalil, a partner at Pear VC and other like-minded peers at Berkeley.

​​​Pear VC backs founders building iconic companies. They’ve invested in category-defining firms like Cognition, Voyage AI, DoorDash, Dropbox, Gusto, and Aurora. Pear VC also runs a program for PhD students, where PhD students and professors doing AI research can get up to a $250k investment, along with up to $600k in cloud credits.

​​​​​​Elevate (elevatehq.org) is the most talent-dense community of researchers and engineers in the world. They’ve hosted in-person events across SF, Palo Alto, and Berkeley, including with dozens of PhD students at SAIL and BAIR. Past event co-hosts include partners at Sequoia and Andreessen Horowitz, and one of the first ten employees at Cursor. Other past co-hosts include Lightspeed (led Anthropic's round), Bain Capital Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Pear VC, and Felicis. Elevate also hosts an international podcast series, where they've interviewed guests that have invested in companies like Skild AI, Reflection AI, and more.
