About Event
June is 3/4 Shimmy Month!
In this challenging and high-energy class we'll detail 8 twisty, rhythmic, and complex shimmy variations.
We'll focus on one or two steps each week, drop-ins welcome. Rachel loves details so bring your questions.
What to bring:
Stretchy layers for warming up and cooling down
A water bottle with a top (filtered water provided)
Optional hip scarf or dance shoes
Who this is for:
This class was created for the intermediate dancer, but anyone who loves working on shimmies is welcome to join. At least one year of belly dance experience is recommended.

What to wear:
Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable moving in. We generally dance barefoot, but dance-studio shoes are ok. Wear clothing that allows you to stretch and move freely.
