​Luca Giuliani — Developer at BitBox — will lead Bitcoin Handle With Care, an introduction to Bitcoin, its underlying principles and its adoption.

​BitBox is a Swiss company specialized in Bitcoin security and self-custody. The company focuses on developing secure, open-source tools that allow users to take control of their own funds and manage their Bitcoin without relying on a third party.

​During the talk, Luca will introduce some of the main issues surrounding the fiat monetary system and explore how Bitcoin can offer an alternative to centralized, trust-based financial solutions. The talk will then dive into the concept of self-custody, explaining what it means to take direct control of your Bitcoin and providing practical insights into the use of hardware wallets.
