Fireside with Jim Belosic from Sendcutsend

If you’ve ever needed one custom metal part and been told to wait three weeks, Jim Belosic knows the feeling.

He was building things in his garage when he ran into the same problem over and over: local shops didn’t want small orders, and getting a quote could take longer than making the part. So he started SendCutSend. Today, you can upload a design, see a price immediately, and order anything from a single prototype to a production run. The company has shipped more than 30 million parts to over 300,000 customers. After building it largely without venture funding, Jim raised $110 million this year from Sequoia, Paradigm, and the Collison brothers.

Jim will be joining us at our Fort Mason space for a fireside chat, followed by live Q&A.

Spots are extremely limited. You must RSVP and be approved to attend. We’ll be checking at the door, and seating is first-come, so arrive early if you want a good spot.
