Dashka Slater presents The Wild Season: The Remarkable True Story of A Rabbit Rescue.

THE WILD SEASON: The Remarkable True Story of A Rabbit Rescue is an adventure story that takes place in a park in SF. It’s about nature, and community, and what it means to be a person in a broken world, and also why there are so many damn rabbits in Australia. Oh, and it’s for kids ages 8-12, but also for adults and anyone who likes parks and animal and building forts and needs to hear inspiring stories about neighbors who come together to solve a problem.

The book is the latest work from the bestselling author, Dashka Slater, who writes nonfiction page-turners set in the Bay Area. You may know her books The 57 Bus and Accountable as well as her children's books like The Antlered Ship, a Local Economy favorite.

In this very special session, Slater will be interviewed by 10-year-old and big Dashka Slater fan, Flora Madrigal.
