About Event
How does a robot know where it is? Join Aalto Robotics Club for a hands-on workshop on LiDAR-based localization, led by Pejman Habibiroudkenar, PhD researcher at the Autonomous Mobility Lab.
We’ll cover how robots use LiDAR scans to estimate their position on a map, the core ideas behind scan matching and localization, and how this works in practice with ROS 2.
Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced builders. Bring your laptop!
