About Found Sound
Found Sound is a one-day pop-up choir, open to every identity and every voice, from people who've never sung in public to experienced singers who just want to make music for fun again. No auditions. No ongoing commitment. Just a few hours of singing together with strangers who won't feel like strangers by the end.
We started it because music is genuinely how we've met some of the best people in our lives — friends who became found family through the act of making sound together. We wanted to build a space where that same magic could happen for someone else too.
As queer founders, we knew what it meant to need a room where you don't have to explain yourself. That's what Found Sound is. People show up, build a safe container, make silly sounds, sing in harmony, and leave having actually connected. Reminded that your sound has always been there, waiting to be found.
