RIVER TOUR WITH LUNCH ON BOARD to connect Creatives with each other and learn about Belem together. We will be joined by media experts to get trained on creating content on what happened during Week 1 and our hopes/aspirations for Week 2, and have the opportunity to collaborate with peers to spread messages together.
7:45 AM – Meet at Estação das Docas
8:00 AM – The walking tour through Ver-o-Peso Market departs. The Ver-o-Peso Complex, consisting of the Dock, Market, and Fair.
9:00 AM – Crossing to the other bank of the Guamá River, you will come into contact with the intense nature of Combu Island and experience the smells and tastes of the forest without having to leave Belém. We will stop at the port of the Acará Community. We will take a walk to explore the riverine environment and learn more about their traditions, such as harvesting açaí fruits from the top of the palm tree using a peconha.
1:30 PM – Scheduled arrival at Estação das Docas. After getting off the boat, you will walk through Estação das Docas, one of the most enjoyable and tasty places to visit in Belém. This cultural, tourist, and gastronomic complex located on the shores of Guajará Bay was revitalized in 2000 and has now become one of the city's most beautiful landmarks.
Then we will visit Porto Futuro II, an urban redevelopment project that forms part of the revitalization of Belém’s waterfront. The initiative aims to transform a previously underused zone into a modern space for community interaction, innovation, and cultural appreciation.
3:00-3:30 PM - Trip Concludes
*Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by a specialized tour guide, live music, and regional dances, providing a true immersion in the rich history and culture of Belém.
*As it is a medium-sized vessel, it is not possible to navigate small rivers and streams, and we are dependent on the movement of the tide.
