About Event

ROTOHAUS × Oblique Table

A quiet introduction to weaving, stitching, and one of the world's most unique writing traditions, Nüshu, featured in the historical fiction NYT bestseller Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will create a small woven textile on a frame loom and finish it with simple Nüshu-inspired embroidery. Historically developed and passed between women in southern China, Nüshu is often described as a script of letters, stories, and personal expression.

Together, we'll explore weaving as structure and embroidery as a way of leaving a mark.
