The Annual Environmental Media Dialogue – 2nd Edition

​This year’s Environmental Media Dialogue, “Reporting Conservation from the Community Lens,” will place the Kuruwitu community at the heart of the conversation. The dialogue will bring together fishers, fish processors, ocean conservation champions, beach and tour operators, waste managers, and BMU leaders, whose lives and livelihoods are most closely tied to the sea. By creating a safe and inclusive space, the dialogue will enable community members to share their experiences, challenges, and solutions, while empowering journalists to report conservation stories with accuracy, responsibility, and authentic local context, a need identified during the inaugural media dialogue in 2025.
