​SPOOKY Mask Decorating Workshop
Halloween is happening upon is so soon. Come decorate a mask so that you're ready fast!!!  Add fur, sculpt teeth or add ears! Let your inner creature of the night out!

Skills we’ll play with:
🖤adhere different materials and manipulate trims
🖤strap techniques or comfort for long periods of wear

About Your Instructor: Born and raised in Ridgewood queens , Jennifer Taves is the true first born Brazilian creatrix of her family in NYC. 
Starting at La Guardia High School, she started her passion for fashion and costumes. She further developed her skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she also earned a second degree in Accessories design. 
After college, she interned with Kim Hicks, a custom evening wear designer at Bergorf Goodman. She worked on lines for Vera Wang for Macy's and a few lines of shoes for Cappelii NY. She soon shifted to costume design at Rubie’s Costumes for 7 years, creating over 100 costumes that sold over 70 million units!
When the company moved she switched gears to selling costumes at festivals and started designing custom orders too. 
Jen now shares her love of creating and designing headpieces and costumes for various performers.
