Scaling in Deeptech: founder-to-founder roundtables
Scaling a deep tech company is never a straight line. It’s complex, unpredictable, and full of decisions that don’t come with a clear playbook.
This founder-to-founder roundtable is built for exactly that reality.
Instead of listening to polished stories from a stage, you’ll take a seat at a small, interactive table where the conversation goes both ways. Founders share openly what worked, what didn’t, and what they would do differently if they had to scale their company again.
For three of the tables, the first CEOs are already confirmed. These are founders who are actively building and scaling deep tech companies today.
Lucas Janssen (CEO, CEAD Group) is working on large-scale 3D printing solutions that are changing how industries design and manufacture products, from infrastructure to maritime applications.
Kiki Lauwers (CEO, Thorizon) is developing next-generation nuclear technology. Her company focuses on molten salt reactors that can safely use existing nuclear waste as fuel and contribute to a more stable and clean energy system.
Casper Peeters (CEO, E-Magy) is advancing battery technology by developing silicon materials that significantly increase energy density, making batteries more powerful and longer-lasting.
Albert Hasper (CEO, PHIX) is developing integrated photonics solutions that enable faster and more energy-efficient data transfer. His company designs and assembles photonic chips that are used in applications ranging from telecom to quantum technologies, playing a key role in the next generation of high-speed connectivity.
Kevin Brundish (CEO, LionVolt) is building next-generation battery technology based on 3D solid-state architecture. By rethinking how batteries are designed at the structural level, LionVolt aims to significantly improve energy density, safety, and charging performance for applications such as electric mobility and portable electronics.
These are not founders giving a pitch. They are joining the table for real conversations.
Each table brings together founders at different stages, creating a setting where experience meets ambition. You get direct insight into the choices, trade-offs and challenges that come with scaling a deep tech company, combined with perspectives from the Dutch Regional Development Agencies.
Two additional CEOs will be announced soon for tables 4 and 5, completing the line-up. The number of seats per table is limited, so the setting stays focused and personal.
Hosted within the Hello Tomorrow Summit and curated by ROM-Nederland, Trailblazer Partner of Hello Tomorrow, this session is designed for meaningful conversations and connections that go beyond the event itself.
Disclaimer: During registration, you can indicate which table you would prefer to join. We will do our best to take these preferences into account, but cannot guarantee placement at a specific table.
