Blue Earth Summit and Kendal Mountain Festival join forces to host the Blue Earth Film Fest, a celebration of adventure, nature, and the powerful role of film in shaping a better world.
Kendal Mountain Festival Director Steve Scott will host a specially curated programme of short films ahead of their official debut at Kendal, offering Blue Earth audiences a unique preview of stories that inspire, challenge, and connect us to people and planet.
Alongside the screenings, audiences will enjoy live filmmaker conversations and guest speakers, bringing personal journeys and urgent environmental issues to life on stage.
Programme Highlights
Big Walls and Bedtime stories featuring live on stage Leo Houlding with Film Director Menna Wakeford: as part of their year of education through adventure, professional climber Leo shares his favourite place with his favourite people. From homeschooling at 2000ft to portaledge snow ball fights - Jackson and Freya scale the Muir Wall on El Capitan, supported by Mum, Jess and dad, Leo.
BOGS | The Magic of Peat: An eye-opening portrait of the hidden power of peatlands, featuring live on stage the film's Director Charlie Bush.
