Why this event exists
The fintech industry was founded on the belief that banks need to be disrupted.
That instinct was correct, but the outcome of that disruption has not been what many thought it would be.
Fintech didn’t kill banking. It disrupted banking by making banks better. By introducing new technologies. New products. New customer experiences. And even new business models.
However, as the banking industry has become more concentrated, the benefits of fintech innovation have increasingly accrued to the biggest banks. The ones with the largest budgets and the most margin for error.
There remains a significant opportunity to equip community and regional banks with modern tools that improve efficiency, elevate customer experience, and expand the products they can deliver. The next wave of financial innovation will come from building for these institutions — not around them.
The Fintech Frontier Summit is a small, invite-only event specifically designed to provoke the ideas, conversations, and connections that will unleash this wave. There is no cost to attend — selected participants are fully hosted by the Summit and are responsible only for their travel.

This is not a conference.
It is a deliberate convening of operators and founders who believe the future of community banking will not be shaped by noise — but by disciplined execution and long-term partnership.
The objective is simple: Cultivate a no-bullshit, high-quality, high-character network of bankers and founders capable of building together — not just talking about it.
Where it's happening
Hosted at Alpine Falls Ranch, the Summit is intentionally set away from hotel ballrooms and industry spectacle.
Awarded a two-Michelin-key stay, Alpine Falls Ranch, which backs up to two million acres of protected lands within the Lolo National Forest, brings an exquisite luxury experience to the Rocky Mountain wilderness. Spend your time river rafting on the Blackfoot or Clark Fork River, hiking with miniature donkeys, or setting off on an adventurous trail ride with local wranglers. The ranch’s Six8 Saloon is a sweet spot to swap stories at day’s end, where the ranch chef cooks up local Montana recipes for all palates.

Accepted applicants are invited to arrive early and stay late (at no cost) to clear their minds before the core days begin and have time to follow up on ideas after. Guests may arrive as early as Friday afternoon, May 29th, and depart the morning of Thursday, June 4th.

This is a no-cost, invitation-only event with extremely limited capacity. The Summit covers lodging, meals, and programming; guests are responsible only for their own travel to Montana.
