​Fireworks, Microsoft, and NVIDIA are handing you one challenge: take open models and beat the closed frontier on a task you define. Train a specialized model, build a smarter harness, route across models, whatever gets you there. Best result wins $10,000!

​The challenge

​Pick a task you care about. Build an eval for it using your own data, synthetic data, or a public set. Then put your system head-to-head against a closed frontier model and show the tradeoff: quality vs. efficiency. Accuracy vs. latency. Pass rate vs. cost. Win on at least one dimension and demonstrate business value and you've beaten the frontier.

Teams must have 2 or more members- single person teams will not be accepted. Every participant must register.
