About Event

Twelve works. One screen. One room. One night a month.

FIRST\FRIDAY is a members-only night at MUD\WTR :gather — film, music, live performance, and visual art from LA's makers, screened for a room of people who actually get it. Plus an opening interview, live sets, and food and drink on the house.

Anyone can apply to attend. Only members show work. Capped at 120.

Make things. Show up. Repeat.

What happens after you RSVP

Every RSVP is reviewed by a person, so you will sit as pending for a little while — that is normal, not a problem.

Once you are approved you will get an email from us with a link to finish your member profile: a photo, what you make, and where to find you. That profile is what the rest of the room sees, and it is what makes the night useful rather than just busy.
