Responsible AI

​Hello Boulder WiMLDS! We have a fabulous talk slated for our next meeting!

​Join us to hear Taryn Heilman discuss her work in Responsible AI .  Taryn has degrees in math and astrophysics, and her early career experience includes operations analytics in spark, implementing computer vision models for a healthcare AI startup and teaching at Galvanize. Taryn currently works at Indeed as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in the Department of Responsible AI.  She works to measure and improve model bias and facilitate the deployment of AI systems that are safe, fair, and aligned with human values.

​​The venue location

​​Uplight, a local software company located in the Boulder Commons, will be hosting the event. Someone will meet you at the lobby door of 2490 Junction Pl (next to Logan's Espresso Cafe) and show you up to the office space. Please arrive no later than 6:15pm. There is pay parking on the street in front of the building and some free parking in the neighborhood.
