Omarchy NWA 001: Install Fest, Show & Tell, and Open Hacking

​Welcome to the first Omarchy meetup in Northwest Arkansas! Join local hackers, builders, and creatives for an evening of making computers fun again.

​This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly gathering. Laptops open, trading notes, and figuring things out together. Even if you haven't installed Omarchy yet, you belong here.

​What we’ll do:

• ​Show & Tell: Show off your terminal customizations, agent setups, favorite plugins. A polished powerpoint deck isn't required. Simply holding up your screen counts as a talk.

• ​Install Fest: Curious but haven't made the jump from Windows, Mac OSX, or other distros? Bring a compatible x86_64 laptop and we’ll help you get up and running on the spot. We'll have bootable USBs ready.

• ​Open Session: Config troubleshooting, trading CLI workflows (Claude Code, etc.), and a quick group vote on how we want to structure this meetup going forward.

​What to bring:

• ​A laptop and power adapter.

• ​If you're installing: ⚠️ Back up your data completely before you come.

• ​An open mind. We are building a room where first-timers ask questions comfortably.
