About Event

Arabs and Black MRG are joining hands during Black History Month to celebrate and explore Afro-Arab Music. Join us alongside Jumana Eltigani and Ahmed Allord for conversation, live musical demonstrations and performance exploring the histories, sounds and cultural contexts of Black and Afro-Arab musical traditions—from rhythm, instrumentation and vocal expression to storytelling and exchange across communities. The event will be followed by dinner and a networking session.•
