Applied agentic coding meetup
Agents are increasingly part of how software gets built, with developments going so fast that it’s hard to keep up how to get the best use out of them to do real engineering.
This meetup brings together three engineers who will demo their day-to-day agent workflows. Each talk is about 20 minutes and is centered around a demo, with context and design decisions explained along the way.
Bootstrapping agentic systems - Fabian Jakobs (Databricks)
Fabian opens by introducing the core ideas behind agentic engineering and how he applies them in practice. He will show how he builds Databricks Apps in a way that makes them accessible to agents as well as humans.
Orchestrating agents in production - Bouke van der Bijl (Monumental)
Bouke goes deeper into multi-agent workflows. He will walk through how he works with multiple Claude instances, sets up automated review bots, and integrates agent feedback into his development loop.
Get your devs to finally write docs by calling them skills - Lucas Meijer (Ex-Unity)
Lucas is figuring out how to use AI agents to ship better software faster. He will share techniques and tricks he found to accelerate game engine development, and how to think about making your codebase agent friendly.
Schedule
18:00: Walk-in & drinks
18:30: Talks (3 x 20 mins)
Post-talks: Hang out, exchange tips, and 2x your productivity.
We’ll provide the drinks (non-alcoholic too) and some fancy falafel to keep the vibes high. See you there!
Who should attend?
Engineers, founders, CTOs - anyone using agentic coding to do engineering
Signing up doesn't guarantee a spot immediately; if we hit capacity, you’ll be added to the waitlist, and we’ll reach out as soon as a seat opens up!
About the host
Monumental builds autonomous robots that construct buildings. We're already laying bricks on family homes, canal walls and industrial buildings across the Netherlands!
