Seattle Green Drinks - PNW Climate Week Happy Hour
Sustainable Seattle is teaming up with the Seattle Donut Economics Coalition, the Coalition for Climate Careers and Circular Pacific Northwest for a Green Drinks happy hour during PNW Climate Week to connect with leaders and change makers in the climate community.
Sustainable Seattle has spent decades building the networks and events that keep this region's sustainability community connected. The Seattle Donut Economics Coalition is bringing people together around a simple but challenging question: how do we meet everyone's needs without overshooting what the planet can support? The Coalition for Climate Careers focuses on the workforce side of the transition, helping people find their way into the jobs building our climate future. Circular Pacific Northwest has been connecting entrepreneurs in the circular economy with policy makers and funding opportunities to advance the just transition toward a more circular and regenerative economy locally.
Expect inspired conversation with climate professionals sharing projects, career changers asking how to break into the field, and people who just want to talk about the future of this region with others who share that same pull toward regenerative change.
Parlour in Pioneer Square gives us a relaxed setting for the evening: good drinks, easy seating, and enough room to move between conversations. Come for the whole three hours or just drop in for part of it. Bring a friend, bring a colleague, or come solo and leave with a few new people worth knowing.
Pacific Northwest Climate Week is packed with events this year, and this will be a fun one with the people building a more regenerative, just, and circular economy in the Puget Sound region.
