AAIF Community Munich #28
Agents in production — what's working, what's breaking, and what nobody's figured out yet.
Hello, fellow MLOps Engineers and ML Enthusiasts, ready for a new meetup?
We're announcing our next meetup event, in collaboration with Slalom!
NOTE: By attending our event, you're agreeing to the Linux Foundation Code of Conduct and accept these attendee guidelines.
Agenda
18:30 - 18:55 - Drinks, food & networking
18:55 - 19:00 - Welcome
19:00 - 19:30 - Talk #1: AI Landing Zones on AWS by Max Tharr, Slalom
How do Landing Zones change when it comes to agentic workloads? The pressure to ship AI features leaves organizations somewhere between heavy restriction and a wild west of separate use cases. We'll talk about concepts to regulate data access, consolidate architecture, and share resources between teams in a complex, ever-shifting environment. Using AgentCore services in a multi-account organizational setup makes this concrete, and keeps governance and cost attribution in reach.
19:30 - 20:00 - Talk #2: Harness Architecture in AWS by Yevhenii Sharapov, Deloitte
Harness engineering is a new term in the technology landscape and, as any challenge, it requires answering 2 questions:
- how do you build one?
- how do you deploy it in a right way?
Best practices for building harness application which can scale to accommodate multiple users, handle fine-grained permissions and allow evaluations of the quality gates using latest technologies in AWS AgentCore
About the speakers
Max Tharr is an AWS Cloud Architect at Slalom focused on agentic AI platforms. He's been an AI engineer since March 2023, back when LangChain was still a hobby project. Together with his clients, he's walked the path from first RAG prototypes into the still chaotic, but more mature world of production AI platforms. In his free time, he's usually in the mountains, and always weird about coffee.
About the Agentic AI Foundation
The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) is a community of people building agentic AI in the open, under the Linux Foundation, and exists to move the practice forward — through shared standards like MCP, AGENTS.md, Goose, agentgateway, etc. and honest, in-person exchange between the people actually shipping.
