At the park: Imaginarium at the park is a series of intimate, community-driven workshops hosted across India. It’s not a meeting. It’s a movement. A place where your lived experience matters — and your voice shapes what comes next.
What should our cities look like in 25 years? Who will live in them? Will they offer clean air, green spaces, dignity — or just survival? We’re not here to talk about what’s broken. We’re here to build what’s next. Together.
What Happens in These 2 Hours?
This is your space. Your story. Your vision.
Here’s how it flows:
Tea, snacks & truth
We begin with a warm welcome from your host — someone who, like you, cares deeply about the future of our cities.
2. Introduction by Greenpeace
Understand why this project exists, and how your voice fits into a larger movement for change.
3. Real conversations, honest emotions
Through dialogue, art, and movement — we unlock the memories, frustrations, and dreams hiding behind every traffic jam, flood, and cough.
4. Closing the loop
We summarise, reflect, and set intentions — because ideas without action are just noise.
5. And yes — your voice will travel.
These gatherings will be documented and translated into powerful public artworks and campaigns — designed to hold power accountable and push for real change.
Buses we are trying to catch: AC bus V-500 series: 500CA or 500L from Banashankari to Silkboard. And 500D from Silkboard to Hebbal Bridge.
These buses are very easy to catch as there are a ton of them! I recommend wearing walking shoes.
Entry: Free except for bus fare: Should be around INR 100.
On the return, there are a lot of buses that come to the bus stands so feel free to catch one back.
Logistics:
At Banashankari bus stand, please enter the bus stand and come to the last lane to catch the 500 series bus.
At Silkboard, kindly come to ORR side but no need to enter the bus stand.
Etiquette:
-We have chosen Sunday as that's the day with the least amount of crowd on a bus. But there will be other passengers, please be mindful of their space and presence.
-This is a silent book reading, so bring a book, grab a seat and get comfy. We can talk after the ride, at the lake.
-Those who get motion sickness kindly take or bring the appropriate medication for it. I find that wearing headphones helps me take my mind off of it, especially when reading in a moving vehicle. That being said, AC buses are a pretty smooth ride!
We want to keep the group small and intimate so further details will be shared to confirmed participants only, as this event is happening in a public bus, we want to be mindful and avoid becoming a large crowd.
We look forward to reading and riding with you on the bus this Sunday!
