Every week, someone shows the room a film they've never actually watched — and never on anything bigger than a laptop or TV, until now.

For our [Nth] screening, we'll be showing John Carpenter's THE THING (1982).

A research team in Antarctica is hunted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of its victims.

Practical effects that still hold up better than most CGI made forty years later, this is the kind of movie that's genuinely better with an audience, because half the fun is watching everyone else flinch at the same moment you do.
