Beyond the Headlines
An Evening with The Neighbor Project
What if we could change how millions of people see Islam and Muslims, one story at a time?
For decades, much of the public conversation about Islam and Muslims has been shaped by headlines, stereotypes, and narratives we didn’t create.
It’s time to tell our own stories.
Join us for an intimate evening hosted by Forerunners, featuring The Neighbor Project, a media initiative bringing together filmmakers, storytellers, and creators to produce compelling films, documentaries, comedy, and entertainment for mainstream audiences.
Our approach is simple:
Create stories people love. Build connections that change perspectives.
We’re not interested in making content that only Muslims watch. We’re building entertainment that reaches people across cultures, communities, and backgrounds.
What to Expect
A First Look: Discover the stories and productions we’re developing.
The Bigger Vision: Learn how we’re building a media institution capable of reaching millions through authentic storytelling.
Meaningful Connections: Meet community leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and supporters who believe in the power of media to create change.
Dinner & Conversation: Enjoy an evening of meaningful discussion about the future of Muslim storytelling.
An Opportunity to Build: Learn how you can become an early supporter and help bring these productions to life.
Why This Matters
The stories people consume shape how they understand the world.
A documentary can challenge an assumption.
A comedy can make unfamiliar people feel like neighbors.
A powerful film can create empathy where arguments never could.
We’re building the infrastructure to make these stories possible, consistently and at scale.
And we’re inviting a select group of people to help make it happen.
