Reforest Yourself: NYC Climate Week
Reforest Yourself
How might we reforest ourselves in a concrete jungle?
We are not separate from Mother Nature and yet sometimes we feel a separation. Climate work, sustainability talks, and resource planning is critical to our infrastructure and yet sometimes this cognitive activity takes us into our heads and out of our bodies. Reforest Yourself is designed to integrate our busy brains into a felt sense of our innate connection with the world we love and long to steward more gracefully.
Each Reforest Yourself practice is seasonally aligned to support you in this unique season. Amanda will guide you through three practices: a moving meditation, rooted visualization and reflective writing. Dana will offer you ear seeds* and seasonally aligned wisdom from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective.
Join our Guide, Amanda Azadian a certified yoga teacher, nature lover, and strategic advisor for healthcare entrepreneurs often found writing about what it means to integrate the worlds of ancient healing wisdom and modern technology innovation in collaboration with Dana Peters a recent graduate of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health & Sciences working at the NYC Health Department…
*Ear seeds are a gentle acupressure tool and the location of each seed will mirror the intentions of our class. There are no needles involved.
Led By: Amanda Azadian & Dana Peters
Doors open at 5:45pm and we'll open with a guided meditation in our surround sound

Come Early to Elevate Your Experience with Adaptogenic Foods and Teas
Reforesters Laboratory is an experimental adaptogenic cafe and sound clinic located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We utilize music – including spatial, sub-bass-centered, and organic instrumentation – along with breathwork, meditation, art, plant care and adaptogenic, nutritional foods + beverages to cultivate kindness—both physical and spiritual. We aim to create an environment that offers peace, space, and clarity, helping people understand the connections between themselves, their communities, and the world around them. To that end, we offer affordable "pay what you can" ticket options on all events and classes.
