WFSC x FoodHack Zürich: Rethinking Pleasure in Food
A collaborative event by FoodHack Zürich and the World Food System Center
January often arrives with an overwhelming pressure to "reset" and "get back on track." The holiday indulgences fade, and our feeds become flooded with cleanses, health kicks, and performance-driven meal plans. We live in an era where food, health and beauty industries are converging, and eating has become increasingly focused on function and performance.
This got us thinking: Have we lost touch with how to truly enjoy our food?
Join us for our first meet-up of the year, where we'll spend an evening rethinking pleasure in food and helping you reconnect with a more mindful, pleasurable relationship with what you eat.
What to Expect:
Expert Introduction: An insightful overview of how modern habits shape our experience with food, with experts guiding us though the psychology of eating and the science behind pleasure in food.
Interactive Workshops: A journey through four carefully curated workshop stations, each designed to awaken your senses and rediscover pleasure in your everyday meals. Note that participation is voluntary.
Networking & Apéro: Following a quick wrap-up, connect with like-minded professionals, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts while enjoying a delicious apéro.

The World Food System Center was established at ETH Zurich based on the belief that the real-world solutions needed to tackle the challenges our food system faces require collaboration from global and local stakeholders across the entire food value chain. We work across disciplines and scales and in partnerships with key stakeholders to create new knowledge and ensure it is translated into real world impact.
