Chicago: Having It All Book Launch Event with Dr. Corinne Low and Brandis Friedman
About This Event
Join us for an illuminating evening with Wharton economist Dr. Corinne Low as she celebrates the launch of "Having It All"—the book that finally puts hard numbers behind what we've all been feeling: the math isn't adding up for women. This is the economics textbook for being a woman that none of us got in school, covering everything from whether there's ever a "right" time to have kids (spoiler: it's complicated) to why we should approach major life decisions with the same rigor we'd bring to a business deal
Dr. Low isn't here to tell you to lean in harder or optimize your morning routine. Instead, she's bringing the receipts—actual economic research that proves what you've suspected all along: we're not imagining the imbalance. But here's the empowering part: once you understand the hidden factors shaping your choices, you can start making decisions that actually work for your life.
What to expect:
A fascinating conversation about the economic realities behind women's choices
Practical frameworks for decision-making that actually serve you
Time for Q&A (bring your biggest life dilemmas)
Book signing
Wine, light bites, and the kind of conversation that makes you rethink everything
15% off your evening's purchase
This event is for anyone who's tired of being told to work harder when the system itself needs fixing, anyone making big life decisions, or anyone who wants to understand why "having it all" feels impossible—and what to do about it.
Space is limited. RSVP required.
