Open Lab: Feb 12, 2025
Hey everyone!
Last week took an unexpected turn into darkness when we played with visual deprivation — participants moved blindfolded while others improvised a soundscape using water bottles, brooms, tapping, clapping, singing... We went full analog, and the experience was so engaging that we want to explore it further and give more people a chance to play with it this week. Paz will be leading the warm-up, so we’ll start by making sure our bodies are ready to move!
We're also excited about Kurt's latest setup where a heartbeat plays across two keyboards and a guitar. Whether you want to try moving in darkness, crafting sounds, or quite literally playing someone's heart strings, there's something here for everyone.
Come move, play, listen, or simply observe. No experience needed — all welcome.
February 12, 7-8:30 pm at ODC Annex
