We at Uhtend have hosted meetups for communities such as Pokemon, Beyblade, Hot Wheels etc and our inner monologue kept saying: "Why not do one for trinket collectors???"
So here we are with our first ever Trinket Collectors Meetup at Cat Cafe Studio!
What to expect at the trinket collectors meetup?
We call ourselves Trinketeers - a community for trinket collectors in Mumbai.
Here's what you can expect:
A judgment free space to show off your trinkets!
Trade with trinket collectors.
Buy trinkets from our 4 specified stalls.
Talk to people about their collection, things you have in common and what you are actively looking for!
Have lunch or evening tea together.
Things to keep in mind:
Since this is our first meetup, the turn out might not be huge (think 12 to 16 folks). We will actively work towards growing our community.
Please treat other people's trinkets with love and care. If you are unsure about them please ask.
Please take care of your belongings - especially if they are fragile.
If you are coming along with a child/toddler/baby please be aware of choking hazards.
Our goal is to create a community where you can talk about collecting trinkets and figurines guilt-free!
What counts as a trinket?
Small sized inexpensive jewellery.
Small sized toys - think Sanrio (Hello Kitty), Sylvanian Families, etc
Plushies - think Pokemon, Pusheen, even Labubu (where did they go?)
This event is made possible by Amusement Barn.
Amusement Barn is the go to place for authentic Pokemon TCG booster boxes, packs and single cards.
They power our Pokemon TCG Meetups and have kindly helped us book the space at Cat Cafe Studio for this meetup.
